What is paranoia

This is my reply to a question on Paranoia by an allegedly affected person's parent:

Do not get impressed by high sounding terminology. Modern psychiatry is not even in its infancy. It is on a wrong track.

As to paranoia, there will be causes, not really materially tracable. There are an immensity of things in this universe that cannot traced materially. For example, look at your computer. Can an ordinary persons see that programs that run it, even if he opens the harddisk? What about a person talking to someone, no one sees and ansering to him or her? Many years ago, when I was sitting near Sharjah Cornish, I saw one such phenomenon. I should have been unnerved. But then, even in those early years I was aware of mobile phones and of handsfree gadgets. For an ordinary doctor, it would have seemed a real case of schrizophernia.

As to curing your son of any tension, try Homeopathy. Do not touch medicines from modern psychiratry. They can be dangerous.

Hey Guys i think that Paranoia is a approach considered to be intensely affected by anxiety or fear, often to the point of irrationality and misconception. Weird thinking typically contains persecutory values, or values of fringe movement concerning a recognized risk towards yourself. Thanks a lot!

Paranoia is when you get excessively scared of things that you think are wanting to hurt you but they are not really there. I've been paranoid before. I thought illuminati assassins or satanists were lurking in the streets like going to run me over or something but they weren't.
