Internet censorship coming to India?
Technically there is logic in the proposal. But like all things implemented by the government, this is only going to arms the government clerks and the babus, and the police shipaies to harass the public. They are most unfit for any such jobs. As it is, the public servants are not fit for any job other than public cleaning.
As to the TV channels and their staff, they look pretty silly and immature. During the terror attack in the hotels in Bombay, the newsboys/girls from the CNN looked liked jabbering school kids. Loud mouthed, and mouthing out shallow words of seeming profundity. Just one stray bullet from anywhere would have made them scamper well past their homes.

Free software saves Kerala schools Rs.11 Crore

Even if it were true, it means nothing. All the so-mentioned savings simply go to feed an army of useless, unwieldy bureaucrats, who wallow in fabulous salaries, shameless pension amounts, and a day-light heist called Commutation of pension. Moreover most schools-colleges are simply a cheating of the people and a waste of around 16 to 17 years in a person's life. Teacher standards are abysmal, and the wards don't learn anything useful from them, other than a heap of marks. In Kerala around 7 lakhs students come out of the 10th class. For around 6 lakh students, the year are a waste with no useful information including good English not imbibed by them. Youngsters to lead India's tech revolution

Youngsters to lead India's tech revolution

It is a total misconception that IITs and IIMs and other sc-called elite colleges are the only places of intellect in India. They are simply placed as superior intelligent and the rest of the crowd are seen as simpletons. Once I went to the proximity of such an elite national college. The locals there were induced to a level of inferiority complex by the immensity of resources and infrastructure unloaded there. It is not correct to use national wealth to induce such inferiority complex on the rest of the citizens here. As to the IIT and IIM graduates contributing to the improvement of the quality of the common man here, there is no such evidence. They just land up in superior stations in corporate sector and use the same feudal words to induce similar inferiority on their working class, or else they all escape to English nations, after swallowing national wealth for a number of years. What is required is not a 'brahmin' class here, but dissemination of quality for all. Let primary schools be given superior quality teachers, who can give the children good English and good personal development. Currently, primary classes in most places are run by 'ayah' class teachers. As to the English nations trembling at the prospect of IIT and IIM graduates coming into dominance, let me say with conviction that even a servant in any Indian home if given the chance to go to any English nation will show fantastic personal development. I have seen it for myself. As to these IIT and IIM graduate having superior intelligence, it is a myth. I know some of them, and they are well-informed, but there are many like them, who also are equivalent, but do not have so much national resources uploaded on them.

Another thing, all this talk of competition is only that of robbing jobs in English nations, and of working and living English nations. All the nations mentioned, like China, Brazil and the rest are going to be the problem for India, if is aims to prosper with such robbing. It shall be a fight among them to get the best vantage position to rob English nation jobs

IITians wake up, your profs are on street

1.. What 'nation builders' is this writer talking about? The real nation builders here are the other citizens of India, who desperately need quality improvement. This 'paltry' $12000 amount to Rs. Seven Lakhs over here. Why should this man compare this money with what a professor is earning in the US, why not what a professor is earning in the third world nations? As to the quality of these 'teachers' and the contribution of their wards, what is it that these people are contributing to the quality improvement of the citizens here. They just become the super class here, who the others have to bow to. You should not talk nonsense. Reduce the salary of these parasites, and bring it down to levels of what the other fooled citizens of this nation is earning. Instead of pumping money for the luxurious lifestyle of these people, built toilets in the towns, free rest houses for the common persons to relax when they travel to towns, bring in British quality education to the children of the common man, provide free school buses, set up safe drinking water facility for the public to use all over the nation etc. As to the contribution of the IITs and IIMs, I heard that they get paid around one or two lakhs per month (around 1 to 2 thousand dollars) over there in the US. Well, the truth is that even an agricultural worker over there earn much more. But then, the question is even if the IITians earn a multiple of this in the US, what is the use of this for the citizens of India? Do not preach foolishness. What this nation is the conservation of the national wealth for the improvement of the persons who live here, and not for the support of persons who are aiming to escape. Cut the salary of the professor and also of all civil servants. What a college teacher needs is just around Rs. 15000 per month. I have also studied in fantastic government colleges. I know the real quality of these āteachersā. Other than what comes in the books, their knowledge is more or less zero.

2. Do not talk about the passion and such things. When these guys join the industry, they will be just novices, and mere nitwits, nothing more. In our nation, the teaching class and the civil servants are persons who have no other real ability to survive. After getting government jobs, they try to publish that they are an indispensible group. Industry does not depend on academic knowledge for surviving. It has knowledge of its own, which the academicians later try to catch up with!
.
3. That is a good reply! And why not compare the US taxi drivers', carpenters', sweepers', security men, and others salary also with what similar persons earn in India? Why only about the super paid white elephants of India?

How many of you belive in the magnetic field aroung our body called AURA

My Answer:
It is not really an aura, but the fact that we are designed by something
similar to what we recently have come to know of as software. I have
done a long study of this matter and have done some writing on this aspect. If

Learning from Failure
Indian sitting in Siicon Valley are not different from Indian sitting in India, only the setting is different. It is an English nation, more or less functioning on traditional English (British) communication systems. So the comment about how they react over there in Silicon Valley has to be understood as the success of the Enlish systems and not of the presons involved. At the same time, the failure of the Chandrayaan is not a failure of the the people of this area, but of the government babus!

Ha, ha, ha! Why only IT personnel? Even Indian Carpenters, taxi drivers, iron workers, and all else are brilliant enough in theri own work. My daughter was learning C plus when she was in her forth class age. Was she brilliant? I dont think so, Computer software and everything about computers are very, very simple! What is going to hurt the US is the presence of outsider inside theri nation. No intelligent nation would allow it. What has happened to American intelligence? Gone Bonkers?

The Seven Pitfalls of Business Failure and How to Avoid Them?

If you are doing business inIndia, there are other factors to be aware of other than fancy, much repeated stuff. One is that what kind of business are you starting, and whether it requires licence/s. If it is a business that does not require any licence, then it can be great relief and one major headache is over.

Second is whether you have any experience in the line you are going to start. You should have some idea about the suppliers and the means to distribute your products. Marketing is a great issue. Basically if you are into manufacturing, then you are literally putting your head into the mouth of distributors, who can simply exploit the situation. You may need to give credit, and then most of the times, it is the distributors who are getting richer.

However, if you are a distributor, then you headache will be with the persons who take things on credit from you.

Money naturally is required, and depending on the kind of business, it can be needed in plentiful.

Then there is one thing that can really help an entrepreneur much. That is the support from family/spouse/ kinfolk etc. If the spouse/family has an attitude of neutralising your vibrant efforts, then things can simply go nullified. However, a spouse or family that more or less rhymes with the needs and moods of business can be a wonderful asset for a businessman. For many households and spouse do not understand that a big business needs a incubation period, for setting up. Many persons in the family will love to pick on the businessman and ask as to what he or she is bringing at the end of each and every single day. Many persons think all business are like little shops, where everything is sold for cash.

I need to mention one other thing. That is the something called Sales Tax. It is actually a robbery to feed the national bureaucracy, and it is collected with a vengeance. If you are giving credit, then there may be the issue of giving tax for things that you have not got your payment for. If the payment takes around 3 or 4 months, then the sales tax can literally eat up your resources.

Then there is the disposition to be obsequious to the officialdom that is an essential prerequisite for doing business in India. If you are entering the arena of business with very elevated ideas of personality and communication, then you had it. You will see the obsequious persons moving fast ahead, while you get bogged down in bureaucratic hurdles.

Also, understand that the realities of most business places of India are not very attractive and the people quality is not much attractive. If you are a person with high standards, you may feel terribly out of place, and solitary.

The fancy areas of international IT business were only an historical fluke that came the Indian way by some accident and does not really represent the realities of Indian business arena.

Then there is the issue of becoming an entrepreneur just to tide over the essential feudal content in the language, for a boss, gets a more powerful level in the language. Here the issue is that if it is not an essential enjoyment of doing business the moves the person, but the feel of being a boss. It has its negative as well as positive sides.

Another thing that a person who goes in for business may face is sheer antipathy and jealousy from others. It is a natural component of Indian social scene, and may not bother one, but then one has to be aware of sly tactics used by others to waylay a business in the pose of lending help. Beware of such do-gooders!

There are many other real life factors, which I cant go into here.

Indian IT companies skip campus recruitment

I have still not understood why any company should go to any campus for recruitment for IT work. There is plenty of talent outside the colleges, and many colleges do not have the requisite finesse in English communication, even though they might be good in English. I noticed this aspect when my daughter was good in computers at a very young age, and I found that software is one of the easiest works that any human being can do. At a young age, my kid learned Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe PageMaker, MS applications, Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe DreamWeaver, and many other things, including Payment GateWay integration (ecommerce) and setting up of Forum Pages in our website. It was when she had started on C Plus and Visual Basic, that she was packed off to school, on the basis of a police complaint that she was being denied school education. In the (English Medium!?) school, where she was taught to make kites (which she had done many years back) and made to write on What is a CD Drive, What are the input output devices of a computer, what is monitor etc. One teacher send her an email not to waste time on the Internet, even though she was the person who was working on our website, despite not having any formal qualifications in web designing. I do not think that she is an extraordinarily intelligent person by birth.

Later many college students (computer BSc) came to talk to her to improve their English. It was then that it was noticed that even though they were 2nd and 3rd year degree students, their information on computer applications were much lower to hers. I am sure that there is no need for waiting for such a long time to teach youngsters IT knowledge like waiting for some 14 years of school education. It is the same with many other kinds of skill, including such skill as carpentry, which currently do not have much social value in our nation (due to the feudal nature of our vernaculars). Teacher standards are very low, but then their wards do manage to wriggle out of their retrains and learn much more due to the immensity of information currently available everywhere, including the English channels like BBC and Internet.

what is treatment of depression please explain?

Depression might be more connected to external inputs rather than any internal mental issue. Trace out what is creating the depression. It can be many things, like your current living condition, the very monotonous view that you get from your room, your lack of friends who vibe with you and your ideas and interests, your lack of companions who rhyme at your mental calibre, persons who use words to distress and tease you, certain words, images, thoughts that connect you to negative persons, issues, themes etc.,your financial conditions, feeling that the future is bleak, monotony of your life, the very layout of your room, the layout of your house, the layout of your college, the social environment, which may be different to what you are comfortable with, feeling that your body is not fit etc. It is not low self esteem that essentially creates depression, but these things that I mentioned. However, the things I mentioned can create low self-esteem.

Do not, repeat do not, consult a psychiatrist. They know as much about the working of the human being as an ordinary computer hardware technician would know about complicated computer software. Moreover, it is just a means of a livelihood.

As to the cure, first find out if there is anyone in your life who is holding your life in a shackled position. A person who enjoys your discomfiture! And may have gains to be made from your mental trauma!! This person can be your intimate friend, your kinfolk, your brother, your sister, your father, your mother, you neighbour, your teacher anyone else who seems to be your protector or friend!!!

Or find things that create discomfiture in you. Depression may get cured if you can preoccupy yourself with some extremely interesting hobbies, like reading, seeing films, writing, engaging in conversation on themes you are passionate about, and joining a club etc.

Another very effective cure for depression would be boisterous games. It shall surely life your spirits. If you cant do that, try swimming. Go for jogging to get your spirits in the right mood and your body in a sound condition. Currently Internet had become be a very good source of preoccupying your self.

However, always bear in mind that most depression can be traced to inimical persons in your life.

As to a medical cure, do not touch allopathic medicines. Homeopathic medicines can be very effective. But then you need to find a capable homeopath, for this field of medicine really deals with the software side of human design. This is my own understanding, even though no homeopath has told me thus. It is effective, but then the doctor may take time to find the right cure that can pinpoint on your issue.

But then, also bear in mind that there are times in life, when one has to bear some bad times. Bad times also can be a source of depression, and it itself can be a depression!

66 percent Indian firms to recruit

In India, it is basically not a problem of not having work, but that most jobs have an untouchable quality. Many jobs, if done, will make a person lose his value in the society and in the feudal language. However, I have seen the same persons who shied from working in many fields, doing that or worse things in the US and UK. They dont come back with any personality belittled problem. Actually, they come back with their personality developed and with a pseudo British/US accent.
As to MBA's and other qualifications, actually most jobs do not need them, but then it is one way to climb up the hierarchy faster, and it helps in the communication codes also.

India worse than Pakistan, Bangladesh for business

I personally think that both Pakistan and Bangladesh may be very near to India in many aspects, because all of them are basically partitions of a single area. However, because of a single religion in these nations, and that too in many cases a single structure linked one, there may be a slight edge in the administrative systems, for the religious establishment may help the people in a slight manner, if the red tape becomes too tight.

However, as to India, as a person who has had very good experience, with the various government departments, I can say that the situation is truly terrible. I had at a particular time in life a huge experience with such departments as Sales Tax, State Excise, Industries, Drugs, Transport (commercial vehicle), Revenue, State Secretariat etc. and rudimentary links with such as the telephone, police, education, health service etc., I can tell the situation is quite bad over here. None of the personnel in any of these departments are really doing a job. They are there to see that no job is done.

In fact, when I went to a RT office, I found a lot of people inside simply handing the files in a most callous manner. I think a single computer could have done the work of almost all the clerks there. It took me around 6 months to get the records of a particular license the details of which had been lost. If a computer had replaced all these gentlemen and ladies lolling inside, the information could have retried in a matter of seconds. I had to ultimately pay some money to a peon through an agent to get the records.

I have also travelled long distances in a lorry in connection to my business. The way the various government personnel including the police, RTO, Excise, Central Excise, Forest etc. behave with the lorry staff was absolutely terrible. I think only persons who have been given the current low level training by low level teachers would bear such behaviour. But then, the lorry staffs were quite happy that the employment was more or less reserved for guys them, thus. It would be only shallow patriotism to say Jai to such a nation. The nation desperately needs quality improvement.

As to the BPO and such things, I feel that successful ones do not allow the real India to enter inside and exists with a pseudo ambience inside, including in communication. In other words, the kind of communication that good BPO maintain inside their premises cannot function in ordinary India. Insides, it is very efficient, but then, if the communication has to interact with the outside India, things can go very weird!

Reliance Industries duping government
Well, there is a history to this culture. If anyone has copies of India Today of the days, when Dhirubhani Ambani was building up his business, one may see the dark methods that was used by him. His attitude was 'I will salaam any sarkari babu and pay what they want. And get my things done'. One may see nothing amiss in this dialogue until one remembers that other persons who refuse to salaam the sarkari babu and who refuse to pay bribes do not get his or her due share of the national resources. Even now, when the mobile communication came up, there are many issues that need real investigation, for the new technology that came from the English nations were simply given to some of the companies to make millions. In terms of mobile set cost, and tariff as well as the manner the usage rates were cut and made mincemeat of to feed these small timers should really be investigated. But then the question remains as to who should do the investigation. There are hundreds of thousand of government employees all of whom come in the same Beckett. If ordinary legal methods are used, it may take at least 2000 years to finish the legal formalities. The only practical method can be that used by William Henry Sleeman in a bygone era

Women in 20s - India's new business tycoons
Well, it is perfect nonsense to think that women are not equal to men in many capacities. However, the only problem would be giving reservation to women who are mentally trained to be servant class and given seats of power and prestige. It would be equivalent to posting a servant as an officer.
Females brought up in perfect ambience are equal to men brought up in perfect ambience. Men also belong to all classes, including that of the servant class. Here I am talking about the Indian social scene. See this also: Women Imbiciles or Angels?

Slogans can't make India a World Power: Murthy
Basically no one wants anyone else to develop in India. Everything is really the opposite of one professes. Once I was in Dubai, and was with some Indians, all working in higher level professions. Whenever the Indian money exchange rate went up, they went into a mood of grave depression. For every single digit increase in the rates of Indian money, they seemed to lose in thousands. They want Indian money to sink to the gutters, so that they become millionaires in India. There are other points too.
As to India currently being a super power, it is like Sri Lanka claiming the same thing just because it was able to carpet bomb the Tamil areas with no qualms. Currently India is a very dirty nation, that can be made a beautiful nation, if someone of quality from outside the local compulsions gets autocratic powers.

IB asks government to block VoIP calls
A more generous move for the citizens of this nation would be installation of recording equipments to record all conversation done by the public servant to the citizens of this nation. It will bring a quality improvement in the way these guys communicate with Indians. Many a citizen would opt out from going for terrorism!

All Kerala government employees to get e-mail IDs
Is it really going to help the citizenry? The feudal content of Malayalam, the language of Kerala, is much graver than that of most other Indian states. For example, in Hindi, one can address an officer by aap, the practical equivalent of which in Malayalam is Ningal. But then if anyone uses this word to a government official, it is more or less certain that either the official will display signs of schrizophernia or else that common mans papers will never okayed. If this is used to a policeman in South Kerala, it is a sure thing that the man's body structure would be severely dismantled.
No government official uses the word Sir in any official correspondence with the citizens. If at all they need to use this word, that is the standard for commencing a letter, they will not give their name or position at the end of the letter. The government should start thinking on these minute issues and then go for correction at major levels. Let the guys inside the offices get a feel that they are worker and not public masters.

Gandhi tops list of who should have won Peace Prize

What is Gandhis contribution? That he drove out the British? Well, that is not a truth. As to all his ideas, well, they are all more or less kind of sales talk meant to garner leadership over a fooled people.

About pushing out the British, it may be understood that the British rule was the best rule for the majority population of India for at least the last 2000 years. Naturally, they will be blamed, for they were the persons who dismantled the huge and powerful feudal structure of this geographical area, which actually had little physical contact among its current constituents.

As to removing the British rule, any serious history student knows that right from 1909, the various presidencies of British India were more or less ruled by the Indians themselves. Gandhi was just a rhetorician who found great possibilities in certain historical incidences.

As to his greatness, it shall grow in places where his supporters can input supportive dialogues into school and college text books. It is really doubtful, if M. K. Gandhi had even rudimentary knowledge about setting up civil administration. As it is, within a few years of British departure, the people here were burdened with an unwieldy and gigantic, bureaucracy, which was corrupt to the core. They and the teaching class are more or less looting the nation, and naturally, they will find a nice usable leader in Gandhi.

If anyone really wants to know who improved the pitiable position of the majority, I would name the various officials of the East India Company, with a few exceptions of the earlier times. If any Indian name can be mentioned, it is the name of RajaRam Mohan Roy. He alone saw the terribleness of young girls being burnt alive. He and the British Parliament need approbation for crushing this terrible act. Gandhi doesnt come anywhere near to Rajaram Mohan Roy in anything. Gandhi was just a master of false talk.

As to the British officials, there are many who worked earnestly for bringing law and order to this geographical area, where a smalltime mans nothing was safe, including his wife and children, for the clutches of the feudal classes. Even the merchant classes were under the terror of being fleeced by the various landlords when their wares moved through their territory. British crushed such truculent landlords, but then now these crooks are appearing on the scene as freedom fighters, who fought the British, in films. One such south Indian movie has just been released. Just a sample of traditional Indian shallow ingratitude!

The name of William Henry Sleeman needs to be mentioned. He was the person who crushed the Thuggee menace.

Another person to mention is Robert Clive. He stands as evidence of the fact that the great majority of Indians were fed up of their slavish existence under the Indian feudal lords and kings. Also, it may be understood that it was essentially the Indians who fought for the British, and not the British army. Persons who know history know that the British nation was not in favor of these persons who liberated the enslaved Indians. In fact, Robert Clive committed suicide due to the incessant attack he had bear from the British society.

I am sure that these entire names would be quite unknown to the modern Indians, who simply mug up what is doled to them by the corrupt bureaucracy, shallow teachers and treacherous politicians.  After all, it serves them right to fool the Indians. Later, their children all go off to English nations.

Was Gandhi a Congress party member, or a manipulator of the congress party?

Many times, I have had the experience of SiliconIndia blocking my efforts at posting. Some times, it says that I am using some wrong text or something like that.

India is not great. But the natives of this land has the potential to be great, provided they are able to push out the current day social and administrative leadership, and learn to appreciate themselves and their fellow natives. Currently they look at locals non-leaders with disdain.
As to the guys who claim to have carried India to the heights, the truth is that they have reached the heights, and have their one foot or both in the English West, and their children also there. That is not the way for this land to achieve greatness but to see that everyone here reaches to the height of social dignity which the higher ups here do  not allow.

All that the majority of Indians need is good quality English, and a lack of knowledge of local vernacular. It can send them to the heights of potential. There is no need for anyone to tell them that they are great. For when they are great, they will know it for themselves. As to the guys who preach Indian greatness, check what is the loot they take from the national coffers in terms of pay and perks.
